UQ Communications Reports Progress Toward the Launch of BWA (WiMAX) Services

UQ Communications Inc.

Tokyo, January 30, 2009: UQ Communications visited the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications today, to report on progress made during the third quarter of FY2008 (October to December) regarding the establishment of a new industry standard base station network for its broadband mobile wireless access system that uses the 2.5 GHz band.

Regarding status of the above-mentioned activities, progress remains on track, according to plan.
