UQ Communications Announces Comprehensive License Acquisition for Low Power WiMAX/WiMAX Repeater

TOKYO, January 25, 2009 - UQ Communications Inc. (Headquarter: Minato-ku,　Tokyo; President: Takashi Tanaka) today announced license acquisition for low power WiMAX/WiMAX repeater from Kanto Bureau of Telecommunications, Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications.

As we strive to fully satisfy customer needs and accelerate area coverage, UQ intends to increase indoor WiMAX area coverage by utilizing this repeater and continues to expand area coverage for indoor facilities including hotel lobbies and underground malls, indoor areas including residences, offices and railway vehicles.

Installation condition is still under discussion, and will be released once we come to conclusion.
