UQ Communications Announces start of Online contract to UQ WiMAX through Wi-Fi on Narita Express

 

TOKYO, February 24, 2010 - UQ Communications Inc. (Headquarter: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Takashi Tanaka) today announced that it will start accepting UQ WiMAX contract through Wi-Fi on Narita Express E259 Series from February 25, 2010 .

 

Before, a user who wanted to use Wi-Fi on Narita Express was necessary to contract UQ WiMAX and UQ Wi-Fi option service in advance. After this, a user without contract with UQ WiMAX is able to use UQ Wi-Fi after contract by Wi-Fi enabled PC through Wi-Fi on Narita Express, for urgent use. (*)  A user who purchases WiMAX enabled device after that, can connect to the Internet in UQ WiMAX service area, in addition to UQ Wi-Fi spots.

UQ Communications will expand the spot which is supported online contract through Wi-Fi.
