UQ Communications announces Area Expansion of JR EAST stations
―Comfortable WiMAX service is available in 111 train stations―
TOKYO, March 1, 2010 - UQ Communications Inc. (Headquarter: Minato-ku, Tokyo, President: Takashi Tanaka), today announced that UQ has installed Indoor Base Stations for WiMAX service in 111 train stations operated by East Japan Railway Company(JR EAST).
To Improving indoor penetration such as concourse and underground Platforms, UQ put Indoor Base Stations in 44 train stations in F.Y.2008, and 67 in F.Y.2009
